About Stakkato

Stakkato is a (died 2026) bay Hannoveraner showjumping stallion foaled in 1993, by Spartan out of a Pygmalion dam.

Stakkato is a Hanoverian stallion born on 4 April 1993 at August Meyer's farm in Uenzen, Germany. This bay stallion comes from an impressive lineage, with his sire Spartan, a Hanoverian stallion by Servus, and his dam Pia, a Hanoverian mare by Pygmalion. Displaying remarkable jumping ability early, he excelled at his stallion performance test, becoming the best jumper and securing entry into Celle State Stud. Stakkato began his sports career in 1998, winning the German Bundeschampionat with Eva Bitter as his rider. He performed impressively at top-tier competitions, including Nations Cup classes and the CHIO Aachen Grand Prix, earning €240,000 in career winnings. With Eva Bitter, he secured the German Championships in 2003 and 2010. Recognised as Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2001 and 2007, Stakkato's influence extends through his offspring, passing down his exceptional traits to future generations.

Stakkato's progeny have made significant impacts in international show jumping, having sired numerous successful horses who thrive in high-level competitions. Notable offspring include Spartacus TN, Satisfaction I, Souvenir, and Ukato. Souvenir, for example, became a National Champion with rider Philipp Weishaupt and amassed career earnings of €412,716. Satisfaction I, a successful competitor under Marco Kutscher, achieved victory in the World Cup Qualifier in Gothenburg in 2012, earning €268,008 in his career. These offspring exemplify Stakkato's strong genetic influence, contributing extensively to show jumping sporting success worldwide.
