Dallas VDL was a Belgian Warmblood stallion born in 2008, associated with the BWP and KWPN studbooks. Bred by Frans Kenis in Brecht, Belgium, his lineage includes the esteemed Douglas, a direct descendant of Darco and Capitol, noted for their Grand Prix success. On his dam's side, Wonder A.S. provides connections to Heartbreaker, Mr. Blue, and Nimmerdor, all legendary in showjumping. Under Jur Vrieling's skilled guidance, Dallas competed internationally, claiming victories like the Puissance class at Falsterbo in 2016 and a 1.45m win in London. He also triumphed in Puissance events in Oslo and Falsterbo, with a notable second place in a 1.50m competition at Aachen. Dallas served as a breeding stallion at VDL Stud until retiring in 2021, and he was put to sleep due to an accident in February 2024. His contributions to sport and breeding are recognised across studbooks including Zangersheide, Oldenburg, Hanoverian, and Selle Français.
