About Jur Vrieling

Jur Vrieling is an accomplished Dutch showjumping rider, born in the Netherlands, who has made significant contributions to the sport on the international stage. He is known for his consistent performances in major competitions, notably representing the Netherlands in the Olympic Games and World Championships. Vrieling secured a team silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and was part of the Dutch team that won gold at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Caen, riding Bubalu VDL. His partnership with VDL Zirocco Blue N.O.P. also brought the Netherlands a team gold at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, where he placed 24th individually.

Throughout his career, Vrieling has showcased exceptional skill and resilience, partnering with several prominent horses including VDL Glasgow van 't Merelsnest, with whom he achieved victories like the 2017 Nations Cup in Falsterbo and the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping in Helsinki the same year.
