Bred by Wilfried Thomann in Drelsdorf, Casall hails from prestigious Holsteiner bloodlines, epitomising the breed with exceptional performance and genetics. His sire, Caretino, is a renowned figure in the Holsteiner studbook, and his dam, Kira XVII, belongs to the celebrated Holsteiner performance mare family, stem 890. Casall’s pedigree includes influential sires like Caretino, Caletto II, Lavall I, and Raimond over four generations, highlighting his distinguished lineage.

Throughout his remarkable showjumping career, Casall was partnered with Swedish rider Rolf-Göran Bengtsson. The duo achieved considerable success on the international circuit, notably participating in the London Olympics in 2012. They secured a team bronze medal at the 2013 European Championships in Herning and placed fourth individually, as well as achieving a fourth-place finish at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014.
