About Geena van 't Roosakker

Geena van 't Roosakker is a BWP showjumping broodmare foaled in 2006, by Darco out of a Kannan dam.

As a broodmare Geena van 't Roosakker is independently evidenced as the dam of the Paris 2024 Olympic horse Kheros van 't Hoogeinde, of the 1.60m performer Jivaro Imperio Egipcio and of Mystic van 't Hoogeinde, the 2018 FEI/WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Champion for six-year-olds at Lanaken. All three are by Echo van 't Spieveld, the cross with the strongest documented outcome set - Hippomundo reported a ten-offspring cohort from that combination in 2025. Her direct daughter Jes van 't Hoogeinde is by Toulon and classified 1.45m, and her direct son Vesper van 't Veer, by Heartbreaker, is BWP approved and won the 2025 Equilannoo Belgian Stallion Competition for four-year-olds. She has further direct progeny by Happy Wandor van't Roosakker, Chacco-Blue and United Touch S, with the direct fillies Echozza Ush WG Z (foaled 18 June 2025) and U Got One Shot Z (2026) catalogued in recent auctions.

HOW HER PRODUCTION FIGURES ARE HANDLED. The public databases disagree and their figures are published here as separate dated snapshots that are never added, averaged or reconciled into a single lifetime count: HorseTelex returns 62 results on its public progeny page, Hippomundo's English page shows 71 horses and 13 sport horses, its Dutch page shows 70 horses and 13 sport horses, and Mares of Macha offers only a qualitative elite subset. The HorseTelex result count is not treated as a verified count of live-born foals, and no complete studbook-issued progeny export was available in the reviewed public sources.

GENERATIONS ARE KEPT SEPARATE. Qointreau van 't Hoogeinde, Dudie Z and Verona (via Korona van 't Hoogeinde), Jester Deluxe (via Happiness du Pachis Z), and Tahiti van het Netehof, Tropical van 't Hoogeinde, Urelie van het Netehof and Uletta van het Netehof (via Mystic van 't Hoogeinde) are SECOND-GENERATION descendants and are never listed or counted as Geena's direct progeny. The stallions Echo van 't Spieveld, Toulon, Heartbreaker, Happy Wandor van't Roosakker, Chacco-Blue and United Touch S are the SIRES of her foals and must never appear among her offspring. Her maternal half-siblings Erco van 't Roosakker and Giorgio van 't Hagenhof, and Usha's daughter Cella, are collateral maternal-family performers, not her produce.

NO VALUATION IS PUBLISHED. No completed sale price attributable to Geena, to a direct offspring or to a clearly defined genetic product of hers met the cited-completed-sale rule, so no monetary value is asserted anywhere on this page.

Own record: Geena van 't Roosakker is the 2006 Belgian Warmblood mare registered 056002W00254755 and identified by FEI as 103JC74, foaled 13 June 2006 in Belgium and twenty years old on 6 August 2026. She is by Darco out of the 1.60m mare Babbe van 't Roosakker, herself by Kannan out of Usha van 't Roosakker - the Chin Chin mare who is Geena's MATERNAL GRANDDAM and who holds her own separate record on this site. The family is BWP Prestatiestam 100. Her own sport record is verified at 1.55m jumping. FEI's profile, accessed 6 August 2026, shows 119 starts and one win, with FEI's standing caveat that its statistics include results only from 1 January 2010, so these are not lifetime totals. She was eighth at the 2011 Young Horses World Championship at Lanaken with Dieter Laheyne and thirtieth at the same championship in 2013 with Tim Hoster, and two industry sources record a second placing in the Ascona Grand Prix for which no exact date, class height or star level was published. She was later campaigned by Tim Hoster, Hans-Dieter Dreher and Janika Sprunger, the last two shown by FEI through 2016. CORRECTIONS TO THIS PAGE. The previous narrative claimed a second place in the CSI3* Grand Prix at Ascona in 2014 at 1.50m and a fifth place in the CSI3* Grand Prix at Humlikon in 2015 at 1.55m. Neither the year, the height nor the star level of the Ascona result is supported by any reviewed source, and the Humlikon result is not mentioned in any reviewed source at all; both embellishments are withdrawn. The previous narrative also described Kannan as a 'French super-sire'; no reviewed source supports that nationality claim and the descriptor is removed. Her status is source-conflicted and stored both ways: FEI still labels her Active, which is an administrative competition status, while Mares of Macha describes her sport career as concluded from 2021 onward. No source confirms her current biological life status, which is left unresolved.

International 1.55m performer and the independently evidenced dam of a Paris 2024 Olympic horse (Kheros van 't Hoogeinde), a 1.60m Grand Prix performer (Jivaro Imperio Egipcio), the 2018 six-year-old World Breeding Champion (Mystic van 't Hoogeinde) and a BWP-approved young stallion (Vesper van 't Veer). Mares of Macha offers embryo-selection access and states that sexed embryos are possible. No valuation is published.
