Zento is a dark brown licensed stallion, registered in multiple studbooks including NRPS, AES, Oldenburg, Westfalen, and Rheinland, born in 2004. He stands at 1.68m and has been tested negative for the WFFS genetic defect as of May 16, 2018. His sire, Quasimodo Z, is an accomplished international showjumper known for competing in 1.50m courses and tracing lineage to notable stallions such as Quidam de Revel and Carthago Z.
Zento's dam, Viola XI, brings further distinction to his pedigree, being a descendant of Caletto II, renowned for breeding successful showjumpers like Caretino and Cassini I. Zento was bred by DHR A Goeijers and currently stands at Het Paard Springt stud in the Netherlands under the ownership of M A Gerritsen. While Zento's own competitive achievements are sparse, his contribution to the breeding world has been substantial.
