Bred by Jacques Duterme, Olisco is the progeny of the influential stallion Jalisco B and the mare Stella. His bloodline embodies a rich heritage carried by French Trotters and Thoroughbreds, characteristic of the Selle Français breed.
Olisco showcased impressive capabilities in the show jumping arena with a career marked by high-level performances. His achievements include being the highest placing American horse at the World Cup in 1990 and finishing second in the U.S. Olympic trials in 1992, subsequently securing his position as the reserve horse for Michael Matz during the Barcelona Olympics. Grand Prix in 1992, and the Budweiser Grand Prix in New Hampshire consecutively in 1994 and 1995.
