Luidam was a showjumping stallion renowned in the sport and breeding sectors. Born on 11th April 1993 in the Netherlands, he was bred by H.G. Mosman Rohe and registered with the KWPN, AES, and Irish Sport Horse studbooks. This chestnut stallion, standing 1.67m tall, was sired by Guidam, linking him to the prestigious lineage of Quidam de Revel and Jalisco B. During his early competitions, Luidam excelled under riders such as John Popely and Billy Twomey. Career highlights include victories in the CSIO Nations Cup at St Gallen and Aachen in 2003 and Dublin in 2004, as well as winning the Grand Prix at La Baule and the Foxhunter Champion title at Wembley in 1999. He was also shortlisted for the 2004 Athens Olympics. Beyond competitions, Luidam's influence persists through his notable contributions as a breeding sire, with his offspring continuing his legacy in showjumping.
