Larino was a Dutch Warmblood (KWPN) stallion specialising in showjumping, born on 9 May 1993. Bred by Arend Florijn of Geesteren, Larino was sired by Concorde, a descendant of the renowned stallion Voltaire, out of the preferent mare Erina by Armstrong. He became an approved breeding stallion with success in several prestigious registries including KWPN, SI, and Selle Français.

Larino's competitive career boasts numerous achievements highlighted by his Grand Prix debut in 2001. He finished in second place at events in The Hague and one of the Valkenswaard legs, as well as securing a fourth-place finish at the renowned Hickstead Grand Prix. Larino also achieved a fifth place in the Grand Prix of Bremen, and emerged victorious in the VHO Trophy in 2003. Additionally, he placed sixth in the Dutch Championships held in Mierlo.
