Farmer is a KWPN registered showjumping stallion born in 1987. He garnered attention early in his career by becoming the Reserve Champion during his 1990 performance test, noted for his talent in both dressage and showjumping. Farmer showcased exceptional qualities with high scores for temperament, stable manners, and training report, alongside impressive marks in canter, trot, jumping, and cross-country.
Throughout his career, Farmer achieved considerable success, winning the Benelux Stallion Jumping Championship and becoming the Champion of the National Stallion Competition as a 4-year-old. His competitive edge persisted, securing another Reserve Champion title in the National Stallion Competition as a 5-year-old. Internationally, Farmer competed at the 1.40m level as a young horse, ultimately advancing to the ZZ-licht level at 17 years of age.
Farmer has sired several notable showjumping horses who have made a mark in international competitions. Among his noteworthy progeny is Lowina, ridden by Albert Zoer, and Twisther, partnered with Christina McCrea. Gestion Franco, ridden by Vincent Voorn, Le General with Jan Peeters, Jolly Jumper ridden by Christian Rogge, and Que Sera ridden by Jean Claude Vangeenberghe are also prominent offspring who have represented him on the international jumping stage.
