About Clearway

Clearway is a (died 2011) Grey showjumping stallion foaled in 1993, by Capitol I out of a Lord dam.

Clearway was a Holsteiner stallion born on 22 May 1993 in Hedwigenkoog, Germany, bred by Otto Boje Schoof. Sired by Capitol I, he inherited exceptional jumping abilities, while his dam, Wodka II, contributed notable equestrian bloodlines like Lord and Ramiro Z. His international Grand Prix career included performances under Lars Bak Andersen, placing in Neumünster and Braunschweig events. These achievements earned him a high breeding index in showjumping, reflecting his competence as both a sporting and breeding stallion. Throughout his life, he was stationed at various Holsteiner Verband locations and had a negative WFFS status, enhancing his attractiveness as a sire. Unfortunately, he passed away at 18 in 2011 due to complications from colic surgery, but his influence remains through his successful offspring in showjumping.

Clearway made a significant impact in the realm of showjumping breeding through his successful progeny. His offspring, such as Clarimo and Glock's Cognac Champblanc, have achieved high ranks in prominent showjumping competitions. Clarimo, from Clearway's first cohort, has performed under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson at substantial international tournaments, validating Clearway's influence as a breeding stallion. Another progeny, Clairchen, has demonstrated potential by securing several M* and M** placements, indicating Clearway's capability to produce offspring with strong competitive potential.

Clearway died in 2011 (colic). Breeding may continue via frozen semen — confirm availability with the stud.
