About Charmieque
Charmieque is a bay KWPN showjumping broodmare foaled in 2007, by Carolus II out of a Baloubet du Rouet dam.
DIRECT OFFSPRING - DATED SNAPSHOTS, NEVER TOTALLED. (1) HorseTelex offspring page, snapshot 6 August 2026: SEVEN named records displayed as offspring of MOM'S CHARMIEQUE. (2) Mares of Macha profile, snapshot 6 August 2026: ONE named horse visible in the profile's Offspring section. The two are separate source-specific snapshots with different definitions; they are never merged and never totalled, and no lifetime production total is published.
The seven HorseTelex-admitted direct offspring are: Grandorado TN N.O.P. (2011, stallion, KWPN, UELN 528003201101482, FEI 105JJ19, by Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, 1.60m, keur, principal rider Willem Greve); Hermieque (2012, mare, KWPN, by Spartacus TN, 1.35m); Lalieque (2016, mare, KWPN, by Cicero Z van Paemel); Charmant T (2020, gelding, FWB, foaled 24 June 2020, by Cadent); Seduisante T (2022, mare, KWPN, by Carlow van de Helle); Eddard Stark SA Z (2024, stallion, Zangersheide, by Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN); and El Grandorado RV Z (2024, stallion, Zangersheide, by Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN). Studforlife records that she carried and delivered her first two foals, in 2011 and 2012, BEFORE her sport career; the HorseTelex roster identifies those two as Grandorado and Hermieque.
Grandorado TN N.O.P. is the verified 1.60m KWPN-approved stallion of the family, campaigned by Willem Greve, reported to have taken silver at the 2018 World Championships for seven-year-old horses at Lanaken - foaled 2011, he was seven in 2018, which is arithmetically consistent - and to have won at CSIO5* Rotterdam. Those achievements belong to HIM and are not transferred to his dam.
EXCLUSIONS. This summary previously named FABRICE DN (1.65m under N. Pizarro) and KASPAR R (1.55m under H. Smolders) as Charmieque's progeny. NEITHER appears in the 6 August 2026 HorseTelex seven-record offspring roster, and no maternity source was found for either. Both are REMOVED from her production. Note that "DN" is the breeder prefix of D. Noordhuis, who bred Charmieque herself and whose prefix appears in her own published alias "Charmieque DN"; a shared breeder prefix is NOT evidence of maternity, and this is precisely the contamination route that must be guarded against on this row. Grandorado's own offspring and all more remote descendants are LATER GENERATIONS and are excluded from her direct progeny. Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, Spartacus TN, Cicero Z van Paemel, Cadent and Carlow van de Helle are the SIRES of her foals and never appear as progeny; every admitted offspring was checked against the sire list first. No conflicting maternal attribution was found for any of the seven admitted offspring, so disputed maternity is empty.
proven_progeny is set to NULL. No defensible definition of "proven" is published for this mare, and the previous stored value of 1 was an undefined count.
Own record: OWN SPORT CAREER. Charmieque competed in show jumping in her own right, and her record is set out here as a first-class career rather than as a preface to her son Grandorado's. Highest level ACTUALLY jumped, with dated evidence: UNKNOWN. No dated start or result row specifying an obstacle height was recovered for this mare in the 6 August 2026 research pass. Four separate reported figures exist and NOT ONE of them is adopted as her verified dated maximum. Reported career level, and the conflict around it: Team Nijhof - a stallion station with a commercial interest in her son - classifies her at 1.45m. Mares of Macha, World of Showjumping and Studforlife describe her at 1.40m. The KWPN database records her under a NATIONAL 1.40m classification (SP NED 1.40), national and not international. HorseTelex records 1.35m. All four figures are stored. The flattering 1.45m commercial figure is expressly NOT adopted; nor is the 1.40m figure promoted to "international 1.40m", which this row previously asserted without support - the only federation classification recovered is explicitly a national one. 1.35m is retained as HorseTelex's conflicting database classification. Because no height-bearing dated result row was recovered at any of these heights, the highest level she is individually documented to have ACTUALLY jumped remains UNKNOWN - it is not 1.45m and it is not 1.40m. Significant results: NONE VERIFIED. No placing with a date, a venue and a class height was recovered. No win or placing is inferred from generic source language such as "successful" or "reached 1.40m". This is a limit of the accessible record, not a claim that she never placed. Riders who campaigned her: three are named, and only one is dated. Lia Agteres-Verhoeven rode her first competitions and stopped when she became pregnant; no dates are published, so no date range is asserted. Ellen Zwijnenberg took over from Agteres-Verhoeven and rode her until the end-2013 sale; the closing bound is 2013 and the opening bound is unknown. Willem Greve is the principal documented sport rider and owner-rider, with a directly documented public span of 17 APRIL 2014 to 7 MAY 2015 - opened by a dated Horses.nl feature picturing Greve with her, closed by a dated World of Showjumping report describing her as his 1.40m horse. Greve bought her at the end of 2013 but no precise transaction date was found. Studforlife additionally reports a later sale to the Finnish rider Eveliina Talvio; no result row proving that Talvio ever started her was found, so Talvio is NOT recorded as a rider. FEI record: fei_id 104GY04 is verified via HorseTelex, but no Charmieque-specific public FEI results table could be recovered, so starts, wins and placings from 2010 are NULL - never zero. IMPORTANT: FEI public horse statistics include results only from 1 January 2010. She was foaled in 2007, so any starts from the first years of her career fall entirely outside the FEI window and are UNKNOWN, not zero. The absence of a recoverable FEI results table is not evidence that she did not compete. Career span and how it ended: the exact dated public span runs 17 April 2014 to 7 May 2015, and that span is NOT the whole career - the earlier riding under Agteres-Verhoeven and Zwijnenberg is narratively verified but undated, and the later ownership is known without any dated starts. No last competition date was recovered. NO RETIREMENT WAS ANNOUNCED. Studforlife reports that injury prevented her from expressing her full sporting potential, but publishes no injury date, no diagnosis and no formal retirement statement. Her career therefore ended on an undated injury account, and the ending is not otherwise dated or explained here. BREEDING AND PEDIGREE. Charmieque is the 2007 KWPN mare UELN 528003200705629, FEI 104GY04, bred by D. Noordhuis of Wijster, Netherlands, by Carolus II (Holsteiner 1987, UELN 276321210092187, by Capitol I out of Lacq) out of Termieque (KWPN 2000, UELN 528003200010166, by Baloubet du Rouet out of Monique), second dam Monique (KWPN 1994, UELN 528003199402962, by Burggraaf out of Campari). KWPN mare line 227, breeding family 522. KWPN predicates EPTM(spr), IBOP(spr), prok, sport(spr) and ster. Her current owner is Mares of Macha and she stands in Italy. IDENTITY WARNING. This row is anchored to UELN 528003200705629. The sire is displayed as CAROLUS II by HorseTelex and as CAROLUS H by Mares of Macha; these are naming variants of the SAME Holsteiner stallion, UELN 276321210092187, not two different pedigrees, and must never be used to split this mare into two candidates. "Charmieque DN" is a published variant of her OWN name carrying her breeder's DN prefix - horses sharing that DN prefix are NOT automatically her offspring. She must never be confused with her son GRANDORADO TN N.O.P., a STALLION foaled 2011, whose photograph and video already fronted this page once and have now been quarantined.
