About Tobago Z

Tobago Z, born in 2008 in Belgium, is a showjumping stallion registered with the Zangersheide studbook. Bred by Jonas Bellemans, he is a product of superior lineage, sired by Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve and out of Whoopie C. He boasts showjumping pedigree, linked to grandsire Narcos II and dam's familial skill derived from Mr Blue. Under rider Daniel Deusser, Tobago Z achieved a team silver medal at the 2019 Longines FEI European Championships in Rotterdam and claimed Grand Prix victories across Oslo, Lyon, Madrid, and Wellington. Known for his agility, he earned the title Zangersheide Horse of the Year in the 2022-2023 Z-ranking and topped the WBFSH Breeders Ranking regularly. His retirement at Brussels Stephex Masters occurred in 2025. Transitioning to breeding at Studfarm Zangersheide in 2026, he commands a €1,600 stud fee, contingent on the birth of a live foal.
