Limbus was a Holsteiner stallion from Germany, noted for his impact on showjumping both as a competitor and a sire. Bred by Klaus H. Jürgen Molitor, he competed at the 1.60m level, securing placements in Nations Cup events with Dietmar Gugler. His lineage included eminent sires such as Landgraf I, Ladykiller xx, and Cottage Son xx. Recognised by the Holsteiner Verband, he was available to breeders worldwide from his base at the Verband in Elmshorn, Germany. His progeny frequently excelled in international showjumping competitions. In 2018, Limbus died in Elmshorn due to colic.
