Landor S was sired by Landadel and his dam was Fureida 2, by Godehard. This strong pedigree contributed to his success both as a competing showjumper and a breeding sire.
In his competitive career, Landor S achieved notable success by being named 'Bundeschampion' of six-year-old jumpers in 1997 and securing first places in jumping classes up to 1.50 meters. Despite not pursuing an extensive international career, his impact on the sport continued through his progeny. In recognition of his contributions to the Oldenburg breed, he was named Oldenburg 'Sire of the Year'.
