About Quinar Z
Quinar Z is a (died 2012) bay showjumping stallion foaled in 1991, by Quidam de Revel out of a Aloube Z dam.
Quinar Z is a bay Holsteiner stallion born in 1991, recognised for his impact on showjumping breeding. His rise began after an impressive free jumping display at the 1997 Holsteiner stallion selection. Bred by Gestüt Hezar-Khani, he is a direct descendant of the renowned Quidam de Revel, who achieved a team bronze and individual fourth at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. Quinar's lineage, which includes notable sires such as Almé Z, has made him a highly regarded sire within the showjumping community, and he is listed in several studbooks, including Holstein and Zangersheide.
Quinar Z has sired numerous successful offspring, cementing his legacy as a top showjumping sire. Among his progeny is Queensland, known for its performances in high-level international competitions. Additionally, Con Quidam RB, another notable offspring, has achieved impressive results with rider Sanne Thijssen, including a victory in the CSI4* 1.60m Montblanc Grand Prix in Moerzeke, Belgium. These successes demonstrate Quinar Z's lasting impact on the sport, as his offspring continue to perform at the highest echelons of international showjumping.
Quinar Z died in 2012 at Fox Fire Farm, New York. Breeding may continue via frozen semen — confirm availability with the stud.
