Quantum is a Bay showjumping stallion foaled in 1994, by Quidam de Revel out of a Cor de la Bryère dam.
Quantum is a Holsteiner stallion known for his strong pedigree and significant contributions to showjumping breeding. Born in 1994, Quantum is sired by the renowned Quidam de Revel and out of Ulla V, making him part of an esteemed lineage. His dam's ancestry includes Cor de la Bryère, further establishing Quantum's powerful bloodline.
Quantum was licensed and approved in 1996, where he earned the title of Reserve Champion with the Holstein studbook. During his competition career, he displayed competence up to class M level.
Despite facing some challenges in training, Quantum has been instrumental in producing successful showjumpers, which bolstered his use in breeding programs, particularly following his return from Brazil to France in 2013. He has been stationed at Haras du Bois Margot in France.
Quantum's progeny have achieved notable success on the international showjumping stage. Quintero Ask, ridden by Rolf-Goran Bengtsson, has secured numerous victories and high placements in Grand Prix events, including in Aachen and Geneva. Quin Chin, under Manuel Fernandez Saro, achieved third place at the World Championship for Young Horses in 2003, followed by a World Champion title for 6-year-olds in 2004. Karatina, ridden by Penelope Leprevost, has also excelled in international competitions.
