About Heartbeat

Heartbeat is a Bay showjumping stallion foaled in 2001, by Heartbreaker out of a Ramiro Z dam.

Heartbeat is a bay stallion registered with multiple studbooks, including SWB, DWB, Zangersheide, Oldenburg, and Hannover, born in 2001. He is renowned in the showjumping discipline, having started his international career in 2008 and achieving significant placings and victories at the Grand Prix level up to 160 cm.

He was introduced to the Danish studbook at the age of three and immediately impressed at the Danish licensing performance test in 2004 with 910 points for jumping, achieving the title 'Flöjhingst'. He further distinguished himself by winning the Danish 4-year-old Championship and young horse championship as a 5-year-old in 2006 with maximum scores.

Throughout his competition career, Heartbeat was guided by notable riders such as Stein Endresen and Niklas Arvidsson. His versatility and reliability were showcased through clear rounds in the Young Horse World Championships at Zangersheide and his success in 150-cm classes.

Heartbeat continues to contribute to the future of showjumping through his successful breeding programme at Lövsta Stuteri AB, earning the coveted title of 'Stallion of the Year' in Denmark in 2013 thanks to his exceptional progeny.

Heartbeat is the sire of several prominent showjumping horses. His son, Hasard 1245, competes at the 1.60m level under Niklas Arvidsson. Another notable progeny, Main Road, ridden by Shane Sweetnam, has also made an impact in the showjumping world. Heartbeat's daughter, Järta, clinched the 2016 Swedish Breeders Trophy and the Elmia Scandinavian Horse Show for 7-year-olds, demonstrating his strong genetic influence. His progeny have shown remarkable promise, with Happy Feets Heartbeat earning top scores in the Danish Warmblood young horse tests and potentially following in Heartbeat's footsteps as a future championship contender.
