About Baloussini
Baloussini is a (died 2020) showjumping stallion foaled in 2005, by Baloubet du Rouet out of a Cassini I dam.
Baloussini was an Oldenburg showjumping stallion born in January 2005, known for his performances with riders Steve Guerdat and Frédéric David. Sired by the famous Baloubet du Rouet and out of the mare Clear Mind, Baloussini boasted a pedigree rich in showjumping excellence. Guerdat rode Baloussini to top finishes in numerous prestigious competitions, such as the Youngster Tour at CSI San Patrignano in 2012, where they achieved 1st, 3rd, and 10th places, and the Youngster Tour - Final at CHI Wiesbaden, placing 5th.
Beginning in June 2013, Frédéric David took over the ride, guiding Baloussini to strong performances at high-level competitions, including the Fontainebleau Master Pro 2017 and the Dubaï CSI5*-W in January 2018. Baloussini earned significant prize money throughout his career, including €6,447 in Dubai CSI5*-W 2018 and €2,716 in Abu Dhabi CSI4*-W World Cup Two Rounds.
Despite his success in the ring, details regarding Baloussini's offspring are limited, with no direct information about his progeny competing at notable international levels. After his retirement, Baloussini was stood at Groupe France Elevage but passed away in December 2020 due to a bacterial infection.
