About Ugano Sitte

Ugano Sitte is a (died 2012) gray showjumping stallion foaled in 2004, by Clinton out of a Avontuur dam.

Ugano Sitte was a prominent Belgian Warmblood stallion, born on 1 January 2004, bred by Daniel Boudrenghien in Belgium. Known for his impressive pedigree, Ugano Sitte was sired by Clinton, a successful Holsteiner stallion, with a lineage including Corrado I and Cor de la Bryère. His dam, Ialta Sitte, was a part of the esteemed 'Sitte' family, known for producing elite show jumpers, and was herself a product of Avontuur. Ugano Sitte was competing in top-tier showjumping events before an untimely accident led to his death in early 2012.

In his career, Ugano Sitte demonstrated significant potential on the international stage. Highlights include victories in the Masters of the 7-year-olds at the Selection Show SBS in 2011 and strong performances at the CSI in Saint Lô. His competitive prowess was cut short, but his presence was deeply felt due to his exceptional abilities in the ring and his promising early achievements.

Despite his short-lived career, Ugano Sitte left an indelible mark through his offspring, which have made significant impacts in showjumping. Casanova de l'Herse, one of his progeny, under François Mathy Jr., gathered notable achievements, including substantial prize winnings and wins in Mechelen and St. Tropez – Grimaud. GFE Excalibur de la Tour Vidal, ridden by Penelope Leprevost, has also excelled in high-level competitions, notably winning the Grand Prix of Vejer de la Frontera in 2022. Clouzot de Lassus, under Bryan Balsiger, won in the final European Championship Young Riders competition in 2017. These accomplishments underline Ugano Sitte's influence on the sport through his lineage.

Ugano Sitte died in 2012 (accidental death). Breeding may continue via frozen semen — confirm availability with the stud.
