About Robin Ii Z
Robin Ii Z is a (died 2014) Dark Bay showjumping stallion foaled in 1987, by Ramiro Z out of a Almé dam.
Robin II Z was a Hanoverian stallion, prominently recognised for his influence in showjumping, both as a competitor and a sire. Born in 1987 at the Zangersheide stud, his breeding traces back to influential stallions such as Ramiro Z and Gotthard. He was notable in international showjumping circuits during the 1990s, tallying significant achievements including a victory at the prestigious Grand Prix of Helsinki in 1995. Subsequently, Robin II Z finished 8th in the World Cup event at Paris Bercy in March 2000.
Upon retiring from competition in 1998, Robin II Z embarked on a successful breeding career primarily focused in France. Over his breeding career, he sired 485 foals through covering 878 mares between 1997 and 2010. His impact on the showjumping world was highlighted by his ability to produce capable offspring, although specific high-achieving progeny at top-tier competitive levels are less documented.
Robin II Z was registered with several studbooks, including the specially renowned Danish Warmblood, Hanoverian, Selle Français, and Zangersheide studbooks. With a height of approximately 1.71 to 1.72 meters and a distinctive dark bay coat, he became a notable figure not only for his breeding attributes but also for his performance pedigree.
Robin II Z's breeding career commenced in 1998, producing offspring such as Qapitol de Montsec and Quova de Vains. However, comprehensive records of offspring achieving significant milestones in world-class 1.50m–1.60m competitions or CSI5* events are somewhat limited.
Robin Ii Z died in 2014 at Haras d'Écouché, Orne, Normandy (Rapid decline in health). Breeding may continue via frozen semen — confirm availability with the stud.
