Originally trained as a show jumper, he transitioned to dressage at the age of five, achieving respectable success by placing third at the Belgian Young Horse Championships. Pavarotti stood at Stal Stoeterij van de Helle in Belgium.

He was honoured as a BWP Ambassador in 2009, reflecting his significant role in the Belgian Warmblood breeding community. Pavarotti vd Helle passed away in April 2010 due to a colic attack.

Pavarotti vd Helle sired many successful showjumping horses. His offspring 'Quintus', ridden by Jean Claude Vangeenberghe, notably placed 10th in the individual competition at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and achieved significant victories such as first place in the CSI4* Grand Prix 2008 in Vilamoura.
