About Nonstop

Nonstop is a (died 2020) Bay showjumping stallion foaled in 1990, by Darco out of a Carneval dam.

Nonstop was a Belgian Warmblood stallion born on 15 May 1990, known for his exceptional showjumping abilities. He was bred by Johan Van Oost and received BWP breeding approval in 1993. Notably, he competed under riders such as Nelson Pessoa and Toni Hassmann. At the age of six, Nonstop won the Belgian Championship and achieved victories in various international Grand Prix and puissance events. He consistently reached the podium at competitions like the Belgian Championship for 6-year-olds, CSI-B Neustadt-Dosse, and CSI-W Geneva. His aptitude for jumping was demonstrated in competitions worldwide. In addition to his competitive achievements, Nonstop also left his mark on breeding, siring successful showjumpers including GIG Amai, Abbervail van het Dingeshof, and Ulysse, who have excelled in top-level competitions.

Nonstop's progeny have left a significant mark on the international showjumping scene. One of his most successful offspring, GIG Amai, claimed victory in the Aachen Grand Prix in 2012 with Michael Whitaker. Abbervail van het Dingeshof, another notable offspring, has been expertly handled by Denis Lynch, while Ulysse has competed under Pius Schwizer, all demonstrating exceptional performance at CSI5* events.

Nonstop died in 2020 at Stoeterij Berkenbroeck, Belgium. Breeding may continue via frozen semen — confirm availability with the stud.
