About Cordalme
Cordalme is a (died 2010) Dark Chestnut showjumping stallion foaled in 1986, by Cor de la Bryere out of a Almé Z dam.
Cordalme, born in 1986, was a stallion registered in studbooks like Oldenburg, Hannover, and Westfalen. His international showjumping career saw him teamed with rider Gilbert Böckmann. Notable achievements include placing second in the North-Rhine Westphalian Cup in Aix la Chapelle in 1994 and replicating this success at the German Classics in Bremen in 1996. Cordalme was also shortlisted for the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, marking his global competitive calibre. His lineage is impressive, as he is sired by Cor de la Bryere and out of dam Aleska Z. This pedigree has fostered a prolific breeding career, resulting in many successful jumpers who excel in top-tier competitions, extending Cordalme's influence.
Cordalme sired several noteworthy offspring who have performed exceptionally in the international showjumping arena. Among them, Careful 23 stood out by winning the 2000 Donaueschingen Grand Prix and competing in the Sydney Olympics the same year. Another progeny, Corlanda Old, achieved significant success in the 1.50m classes, securing numerous international victories, and placing second in the 1.60m Grand Prix of Nörten-Hardenberg, highlighting the strength and versatility of Cordalme's bloodline.
Cordalme died in 2010. Breeding may continue via frozen semen — confirm availability with the stud.
