About Denis Lynch

Denis Lynch is an Irish showjumping rider renowned for his participation in numerous major international competitions since the early 2000s. Originating from Ireland, Lynch has built a formidable reputation not only as a competitor but also as a trainer and breeder, operating from his current base in Germany. Known for his consistent presence at top-tier events, Lynch contributed to Irish team efforts and represented his country in multiple Nations Cup competitions.

Lynch has participated in several prestigious championships, including the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games, and European Championships. Notably, at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, he finished 18th individually riding Lantinus. He represented Ireland at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Normandy with All Star 5 but did not qualify for the individual final. In 2007, Lynch helped secure a team bronze at the European Championships in Mannheim riding Lantinus.

Lynch's partnership with top horses has been a central pillar of his career. He achieved significant success with All Star 5, including a standout 7th place finish at the 2017 World Cup Finals in Omaha. His tenure with the horse included contributing to team victories, such as the 2012 Nations Cup win in St. Gallen. Lynch was also successful with Abbervail van het Dingeshof, securing numerous top ten finishes at international competitions.
