About Hello Winner

Hello Winner is a Grey NRPS showjumping broodmare foaled in 2003, by Stradbally Blue out of a Noncorde dam.

Hello Winner has produced two upper-level performers by unrelated stallions - Binner (Lanciano, 1.40m recorded and reported to 1.45m in Mexico) and Seranno (Caretino Glory, international 1.40m) - rather than relying on one exceptional offspring. Younger progeny by Big Star, Verdi TN, VDL Glasgow van het Merelsnest and El Barone 111 Z add depth but are too young for firm conclusions. The record supports a credible reputation for transmitting international jumping capacity, rideability and durability; public results do not yet show several direct 1.60m offspring, so she is accurately described as a genuine five-star 1.60m Nations Cup mare with two proven 1.40m-plus direct offspring and a promising younger portfolio. She is the granddam of the Emerald van 't Ruytershof x Seranno embryo due 30 April 2027, and of a 2026 Emerald x Caretino Glory mare representing the same immediate cross.

Own record: International 1.60m showjumper produced through the grades by Louise Saywell, who took the ride when the mare was six and calls her her 'horse of a lifetime'. Breakthrough 2013: senior five-star Nations Cup debut, a double clear in Britain's second-placed team at Gijon, fourth at Rotterdam and second at Lisbon, second in the Linz Grand Prix, third in Hickstead's Queen Elizabeth II Cup, and selection for the inaugural Furusiyya Nations Cup Final in Barcelona, where Britain finished eighth. In 2014 she won the under-25 Les Talents Hermes at the Saut Hermes in Paris. Her sporting career was subsequently cut short; the precise reason and formal retirement date are not publicly verified.
