Acodetto I was a Holsteiner stallion known for his influence in the showjumping discipline. Born in 2001 and bred by ZG Dirk und Carmen Oldekop in Schönwalde, he stemmed from the esteemed Holsteiner line 2543. His sire was the celebrated Acorado I, belonging to the Almé Z bloodline, and his dam Louvre brought the revered genetics of Contender into his lineage.
During his competitive career, Acodetto I displayed outstanding talent, earning a score of 9.88 for jumping ability at his 30-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf in 2004, achieving a spring-endnote of 9.44. He continued to show promise by succeeding in spring horse classes up to M level and was competitive in S-level jumping classes under the guidance of rider Torben Seemann.
His breeding career was equally noteworthy, producing seven licensed sons and numerous international showjumpers. Acodetto I stood at Hengststation Maas J. Hell GmbH in Klein Offenseth and his progeny's cumulative lifetime earnings exceed 1 million Euros, highlighting his significance in the world of showjumping breeding.
Among Acodetto I's notable offspring is Lazzaro delle Schiave, who has competed at a five-star level. In addition, his progeny Anna Jo has represented in Nations Cup competitions with American rider Paris Sellon.
