Thomas Velin is a Danish showjumping rider who has represented Denmark at various international competitions, including the Olympics and European Championships. Born on 14 April 1975, Velin is known for his partnership with the Selle Français stallion, Carnute, with whom he competed in the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. He placed 10th individually in Sydney 2000. Velin's career highlights also include strong performances in the World Cup Finals, securing a top 10 position in both the 2004 and 2009 editions.

Velin has been a significant presence in European showjumping, with multiple appearances in the European Championships over the years.
