Sameh El Dahan is an elite showjumping rider originally from Egypt, known for his significant impact on the international showjumping scene. Starting his riding career at the Police Union Sports Club in Egypt, El Dahan moved to Northern Ireland in 2011 to join Sycamore Stables. His training under the guidance of Joanne Sloan Allen led to a successful career marked by numerous high-profile victories.

In 2018, El Dahan achieved a remarkable feat by winning the prestigious CP 'International', presented by Rolex, at the CSIO5* Spruce Meadows 'Masters' in Calgary, Canada, riding Suma's Zorro. This victory was part of the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, a notable achievement in the sport. That same year, he also secured a gold medal at the LGCT Paris Grand Prix, solidifying his reputation as a top competitor.

El Dahan has represented Egypt in several prestigious competitions, including the 2012 FEI World Cup Final and the 2014 FEI World Equestrian Games. Despite facing a setback in 2021 when he was not selected for the Egyptian Olympic team, he continued to demonstrate resilience and later switched his sports nationality to represent Great Britain. In 2023, following positive changes within the Egyptian Equestrian Federation, he decided to return to representing Egypt.
