Roger-Yves Bost, often affectionately referred to as 'Bosty', is a celebrated showjumping rider from France, born on 21 October 1965 in Boulogne-Billancourt. Operating from the Haras des Brulys in Barbizon, France, Bost has had a highly decorated and enduring career in showjumping, marked by his influential role within the French national team.

Bost's career highlights include winning a team gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games in 2016 with his horse Sydney Une Prince. He also achieved European Champion status in 2013 riding Castle Forbes Myrtille Paulois, showcasing his skill in both team and individual events. At the World Equestrian Games, he has contributed to France's success, securing a gold medal in 1990 and team silver in 1998.

Throughout his career, Bost has formed successful partnerships with several notable horses. His achievements include a 4th place team finish at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics with Souviens Toi III and a bronze medal at the 1995 European Championships with the same horse. His remarkable partnership with Norton de Rhuys led to top finishes in the World Cup Finals in the early 1990s.
