Richard Vogel is a distinguished German showjumping rider born in 1997. His career has been marked by considerable achievements within the equestrian world, notably competing at the highest levels of international showjumping. Vogel represented Germany at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, where he contributed to the team event, placing fifth alongside his remarkable stallion United Touch S.

In 2025, Vogel reached the pinnacle of European showjumping by securing the Individual European Champion title at the Longines FEI Jumping European Championship in A Coruña, Spain. On United Touch S, Vogel delivered a stunning performance, achieving five clear rounds to clinch the gold medal. Furthermore, he contributed to Germany's team success by winning a bronze medal at the same championship alongside notable riders Marcus Ehning, Sophie Hinners, and Christian Kukuk.

Vogel's talent is evident through his impressive ranking, holding both Individual and Team Rank 3 in the FEI Longines Rankings.
