Based in Bekkevoort, Belgium, he operates Devos Stables along with his wife, Caroline Poels. Pieter Devos has been an active participant in the showjumping circuit for over 17 years, showcasing his skill and dedication to the sport. He has established a successful career by forming strong partnerships with several top-class horses, including Claire Z, Espoir, and Casual DV Z.

Devos made a significant mark in the equestrian world by being a part of the Belgian team that clinched gold at the 2019 European Championships in Rotterdam and was part of the Belgian team that won bronze at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
