Pedro Veniss is a prominent Brazilian showjumping rider, born on 6 January 1983, who has made significant contributions to the sport, particularly through international competitions and his involvement in horse training. Notably, Veniss has represented Brazil at multiple prestigious events, including two Summer Olympics, two World Equestrian Games, and two Pan American Games. His achievements include winning a team gold medal at the Pan American Games in 2007.

Veniss's career in showjumping includes a remarkable victory at the 2016 Rolex Grand Prix in Geneva with his horse Quabri de l'Isle, highlighting the successful partnership between the rider and this renowned stallion. Pedro has been based in Barcelona, Spain, and operates the Pedro Veniss Academy, where he trains both horses and riders, reinforcing his expertise and dedication to the discipline.

Moving to Europe at the age of 18 to pursue his equestrian career, Veniss was appointed as the jumping riders' representative on the FEI's athletes committee in 2020, reflecting his respected status within the international equestrian community.
