About Peder Fredricson

Peder Fredricson, born on 30 January 1972, is a Swedish showjumping rider known for his international success. His Olympic debut took place in 1992 at the Barcelona Games where he competed in eventing before transitioning to showjumping in the early 2000s, guided by his wife, Lisen, an accomplished showjumper. They own Grevlunda, a jumping stable in Österlen, Sweden. Notably, Fredricson won individual silver medals at both the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympics and was pivotal in securing Sweden's first Team Jumping gold in nearly a century at Tokyo 2020. In 2017, he became the European Champion riding H&M All In and, by 2021, amassed seven medals over six years from major championships. His expertise was recognised with the world number one position in the Longines World Rankings. Fredricson has received the FEI Best Athlete Award and the Jerring Award for his contributions to equestrian sports.
