Maikel van der Vleuten, born 10 February 1988, is a Dutch showjumping rider who competes internationally for the Netherlands. His long-standing collaboration with VDL Groep Verdi TN marked numerous victories spanning over a decade. At the 2012 London Olympics, van der Vleuten earned a team silver alongside VDL Groep Verdi TN N.O.P. In the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, he claimed an individual bronze riding Beauville Z. His competitive tenure includes a 2014 World Equestrian Games team gold in Normandy and a team gold at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen. Van der Vleuten's FEI World Cup Finals appearances featured a ninth place in Omaha in 2017 and sixth place in Las Vegas in 2015. The Dutch team, aided by van der Vleuten, won the 2021 Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final.
