Julien Epaillard is a prominent French showjumping rider, born on 24th July 1977, known for his rapid riding style and consistent performances on the international stage. Based in Normandy, France, Epaillard manages the Haras de la Bosquetterie stables alongside his wife, Susana, where they focus on the breeding and training of elite showjumping horses.

Epaillard has an impressive career highlighted by numerous victories in major competitions. In 2023, he secured a bronze medal in individual jumping at the European Championships. The following year he showcased his talents at the Paris 2024 Olympics, narrowly missing a podium finish in the individual event but earning a bronze medal in team jumping with Dubai du Cedre, and also achieved a third-place finish in the team event at the European Championships. In 2025, Epaillard delivered a strong performance at the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final in Basel, partnering with Donatello d'Auge.
