About Christian Ahlmann

Christian Ahlmann, born on 17 December 1974 in Marl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, is a leading figure in international showjumping. A key competitor for Germany, Ahlmann has a decorated career with significant achievements at major championships around the globe. His participation in the Olympic Games has seen him earn a team bronze medal at Athens 2004 and a team bronze medal at Rio 2016. He has also competed in the World Cup Finals, claiming victory in 2011 Leipzig aboard Taloubet Z.

Ahlmann's prowess at the European Championships is well-documented, having won both individual and team gold in 2003 with Cöster, followed by team gold in 2005 and a team silver in 2007. He competed at the 2006 World Championships in Aachen riding Cöster. His partnership with the horse Codex One brought further success, including a team silver medal at the 2013 Herning European Championships and an impressive Rolex Grand Prix win at Aachen in 2014.
