Beezie Madden, born in 1963, is a renowned American showjumping rider whose career has spanned several decades, establishing her as one of the foremost figures in the sport. Madden's journey in showjumping began notably when she started competing at the Grand Prix level in 1985. Over the years, she has accrued numerous accolades and has represented the United States at several prestigious international competitions.

Madden is a four-time Olympic athlete, having competed in Athens in 2004, Beijing in 2008, London in 2012, and Rio de Janeiro in 2016. Her Olympic successes include team gold medals in Athens and Beijing, with an individual bronze also secured in Beijing, and a team silver in Rio riding Cortes 'C'. She has also achieved notable success in the World Equestrian Games, earning individual and team bronze in 2014 with Cortes 'C'.

Among Madden's significant achievements is her victory at the 2013 FEI World Cup Finals in Gothenburg, Sweden, aboard Simon. She further solidified her place in the history of showjumping by becoming the oldest athlete to win the World Cup in 2018 riding Breitling LS. Madden has also excelled at the King George V Gold Cup in Hickstead, being the first woman to win back-to-back titles in 2014 and 2015 with Cortes 'C'.

Madden, alongside her husband, runs John Madden Sales, a training and sales stable situated in Cazenovia, New York, and Wellington, Florida. She announced a plan for semi-retirement in 2020, intending to focus more on training horses and riders. Madden's contributions to the sport have been recognised through accolades such as the USEF Equestrian of the Year title, which she has won five times.
